Sony revealed the date of launching the PS5 in all countries of the world, which will come in two parts, the first on November 12 and the other on November 19, but India will not be in either section and it may be delayed for some time.
Many players in India have questioned this delay from Sony in announcing the price of the PS5 in their country, and it has not been completely marketed until this moment and all the prices announced so far are unofficial, and it seems that Sony is facing a big dilemma in order to market and launch a device PS5 inside India, especially since the PS5 is ready for pre-order in most parts of the world, and the official launch will be on November 12 and 19, but until this moment there is no date in India, and the latter is considered one of the most important Asian markets for major companies in the world, India, which has a population of more than 1.3 billion people, do not forget that Sony has a major branch in New Delhi, India.
The big dilemma facing Sony is that it does not own the "PS5" trademark in India and the reason behind that is an Indian citizen called Hitesh Aswani from Delhi. The aforementioned person somehow registered three months ago the trademark for PS5 in favor of his personal ownership as commercial rights within Indian borders, so Sony will not be able to market or sell any products bearing the same brand as PS5 inside Indian territory.
The strange thing is that this person, through a source who came to us recently, indicated that he might really want to sell this brand for “55,000 rupees (750 dollars)” !! The information received has not been verified, but certainly, everyone trusts Sony to face this problem wisely and deliberately and will strive to take its right to market the device, and the judiciary will say its word in the near future.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that a major company has faced a trademark problem in the same way, as the Taiwanese company Asus faced this before, as it lost the rights to the name “ZenFone” last year after a local company sued them for violating its trademark Zen Mobile, and it was forced The company later replaced the name "ZenFone 6" to "ASUS 6z".
